GRANBURY, Texas (AP) Storms have dumped more than 7 inches of rain in a North Texas county where some roads and the Brazos River flooded amid the deluge. The National Weather Service says the Granbury area received more than 7 inches of rain yesterday. Lake Granbury rose about 4 feet from the weekend storm.

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) Investigators say 10 people have been hurt in a five-vehicle collision at a Central Texas intersection. Austin-Travis County EMS say accident happened last night in southwest Austin. Investigators are trying to determine what led to the crashes.

HOUSTON (AP) An Amber Alert has been issued for an 8-month-old girl who was in a car that was stolen from a Houston gas station. Houston police recovered the car this morning. Officials say Genesis Haley remains missing. Genesis was wearing white pants, a white T-shirt and four barrettes in her hair.

PORT BOLIVAR, Texas (AP) The Coast Guard says four people on a pleasure boat safely swam to shore before their disabled 15-foot vessel was hit by a towboat in Southeast Texas. Coast Guard officials say nobody was hurt in yesterday afternoon's accident that closed a 2-mile stretch of the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway near Bolivar (BAW'-luh-vuhr) Peninsula. The waterway reopened last night.
