HIDALGO - Jay Humphrey stroked seven shots from behind the three-point arc as the Rio Grande Valley Vipers (21-16) snapped a four game losing streak with a 130-120 victory over the Maine Red Claws (13-22). Both teams enjoyed double digit leads in the game. Humphrey's 22 points led three home players with 20 plus points. The Vipers have been at the mercy of a revolving door the past two weeks between the Valley and Houston. The parent Houston Rockets have been calling players up and sending them back down at a fairly rapid rate. That's made it difficult for Nick Nurse to have a stable player rotation. Now, with the end of the home stand and upcoming all star break, players will get four straight days without team activities. The team returns to action on the road at Tulsa on March 2nd.
