COLLEGE STATION - Fifth-ranked Kansas (23-5, 13-2) held off a second half comeback at College Station Wednesday night and grabbed the Big 12 basketball lead with a 66-58 win over Texas A&M (13-14, 4-11). With Missouri's loss on Tuesday night to Kansas State, the Jayhawks now lead the men's league race by one game with three league games to play. Kansas can double the lead on Saturday at home in a showdown with Missouri. Elijah Johnson scored 21 points to pace Kansas. Khris Middleton tossed in 23 points in the losing effort.
