About Jayleen

Jayleen is a happy and pleasant child. She is very affectionate and loves to be held and cuddled. Jayleen also likes to be the center of attention. Jayleen is loveable and needs time to warm up to you and time to bond with her family. It is very difficult to not fall in love with Jayleen the first time you meet her. Jayleen enjoys bath time and being rocked and held. She also likes having someone sing to her. Her favorite toy is her musical sea horse and she can't seem to be without it. Despite being unable to verbally express herself, Jayleen interacts through her behaviors and recognizes individual voices. Jayleen is a sweet and loving girl. She has faced many challenges in her young life. Jaleen has significant medical needs due to suffering from Encephalopathy, Seizures, and Epilepsy. She does not crawl and cannot sit up on her own. Jayleen is fed through a feeding tube and uses a wheelchair for mobility. Jayleen will need pervasive support and total dependence on others including life-sustaining care. Jayleen requires constant assistance and supervision. Jayleen will continue to thrive in a nurturing and stimulating home environment. It is crucial that her family advocate for her well-being, as she will continue to require extensive physical and occupational therapy as well as medical intervention.
