Judge Extends Restraining Order Against Park Girl

CAMERON COUNTY - A Cameron County judge is extending a restraining order against La Feria's Park Girl.
The judge decided Jo Leigh Ares and any company who financed her mobile homes still cannot collect payments on those homes. The judge wants the mounting legal troubles against the Park Girl to be resolved first. Customers will make their payments to the court until that happens.
This restraining order will keep folks from having their homes foreclosed on. Forty-three Park Girl customers filed a lawsuit against Ares claiming she took thousands of dollars. Ares is free on a $200,000 bond.
