CAMERON COUNTY - A Cameron County judge says he doesn't know why the Park Girl got her bond reduced.

Judge Adam Gonzalez set Jo Leigh Ares' bond at $1.2 million at her arraignment last week. Another judge lowered the bond by $1 million. Gonzalez says nobody told him the bond would be lowered.

Ares posted $200,000 and walked out of the Cameron County jail Tuesday night. Gonzalez says Ares is a flight risk.

"I believe it's a possibility. That's one of the reasons a high bond was placed on her at the beginning," says Gonzalez.

Ares faces four counts of felony theft. She's accused of taking thousands of dollars from her customers.
