FORT WORTH - The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees (24-25-7) took only 15 shots on goal Friday night against the Texas Brahmas (29-19-8). Yet, they made four of those shots count in a 4-0 road victory that pulls the team within a game of the .500 mark in CHL play. Goalie Wylie Rogers stopped all 28 shots he faced in recording the road win. Tomas Klempa got things going with an opening period goal at the 15:01 mark. The lead swelled when Brandon Campos scored midway through the second period. Dan Gendur fired in a silencer with just 20 seconds left in the second, a shorthanded goal, that left the crowd stunned during the second intermission. Aaron Lee knocked in an insurance goal with just three minutes remaining. The two teams return to the ice at the Fort Worth Convention Center on Saturday night.
