HIDALGO - The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees (27-26-7) spotted the Arizona Sundogs (17-32-9) a two goal, first period lead on Friday night before storming back with the final six goals of the game in a 6-2 victory over the visitors. With Tulsa's 4-3 loss to Quad City, the Bees have now stretched their lead for the fourth and final playoff spot in the Berry Conference to four points. John Murray allowed the two early goals before finishing with 36 saves to preserve the victory. Jason Dixon scored a pair of goals in the win. The same two teams are back on the ice on Saturday night in Hidalgo to wrap up the weekend pair of games.
