HIDALGO - The Evansville IceMen will leave the Rio Grande Valley with four CHL standings points after winning a pair of games against the Killer Bees in Hidalgo. Wednesday night's 3-1 victory at State Farm Arena comes on the heels of a 4-3 shootout win for Evansville (30-13-4) on Tuesday. The Killer Bees (20-22-7) trailed 2-0 when Tomas Klempa scored in the third period. The game stayed that way until Brian Bicek fired in an empty net goal to establish the 3-1 final. The victory on Wednesday moves the IceMen into first place in the CHL's Turner Conference. The Killer Bees are now four points back of fourth place Tulsa in the Berry Conference.
