BROWNSVILLE - A trial connected to a bribery scheme involving a former state district judge is moving outside the Rio Grande Valley.

The case against lawyer Marc Rosenthal of Austin is heading to Corpus Christi. Rosenthal was indicted on 13 counts of bribery more than a year ago. He's accused of making a client lie about testimony and bribing then-judge Abel Limas for favorable rulings.
Rosenthal's defense team claims prosecutors know that's not true. In a hearing Tuesday, federal prosecutors questioned his one million dollar donation to a Brownsville toy giveaway. They also said his Facebook ad could taint the jury.

The trial is expected to begin in Corpus Christi in February.
