EDINBURG – An investigation is underway to find the cause of the pipeline explosion in Mexico.

The explosion killed 85 and injured many others near the site of an illegal tap on a pipeline in the state of hidalgo.

A local supplier explains this is a reminder for people to use caution when pumping gas.               

He explains cellphones emit waves that can lead to fires, and so can certain clothing.

A small spark is enough to light gasoline on fire and cause a disaster.
