HARLINGEN - A Harlingen man is behind bars on aggravated assault charges, after he hit another man with a brick.
Police say Ernesto Alonso Gonzalez was fighting with a San Benito man outside a house on the 2800 Block of Calle Reina.
When officers arrived, they found the 21-year-old man bleeding. Gonzalez allegedly hit the man on the head with a brick.
The victim is recovering from his injuries. Gonzales was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
