HARLNGEN - A mass shooting has left 12 people dead and 31 others wounded at a processing center in Fort Hood.
Officials say the shooter, an Army major, was killed. A Texas congressman says two soldiers who were detained have been released.One hundred and fifty Army Reserve soldiers from Harlingen are currently in Ft. Hood.
CHANNEL 5 NEWS contacted a spokesperson from the 812 Quarter Master Company about the shooting.
Press Sergeant Rene Guerra says, "Just to let all the people know that the 812 Quarter Master Company out of Harlingen, Texas has several soldiers down in this are, the soldiers are all fine, they were all accounted for within 8 minutes after the incident happened."
