MISSION - Hidalgo County Sheriff's Deputies are searching for an armed man who robbed a convenience store.
Deputies say the thief held-up the clerk at the Whassup Store on 6 Mile Line and Bentsen Palm road.
The man was armed with a chrome handgun. He stole $100 in cash and two packs of cigarettes. Authorities say the clerk was not hurt.
The thief was wearing a grey sweater and blue jeans. He was last seen driving westbound on Mile 6 in a grey pick-up truck with a camper.
