AMARILLO - The Rio Grande Valley Magic outpointed the Amarillo Venom 74-73 at the Amarillo Civic Center Saturday night. After thrashing Laredo by 40 points on Monday, the Magic (5-2) had a much tougher time against the Venom (3-4). The game went back and forth in the classic style of indoor football with touchdowns coming in bunches. After both squads tacked 147 points on the scoreboard, it was the Magic pulling out their third straight win. RGV wide receiver Danny Young helped his team's cause with six touchdown grabs and 158 yards receiving. Next up for the Magic is a home contest against West Texas on Monday, June 4 at 7:05 pm.
