BROWNSVILLE - A man is behind bars in Brownsville after he allegedly stabbed two people and tried to hit a security guard with his vehicle this morning, police said.

The incident happened at about 1:30 a.m. at Stilettos Gentlemen's Club located on the 1400 block of Expressway 83.

The 23-year-old suspect got into vehicle after the stabbing and almost struck the security guard as he fled the scene, officials said.

Police spotted the suspect's pink Jeep Commander on the 1900 block of Alton Gloor and arrested the man. Officers took him to the city jail where he was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and aggravated assault with a motor vehicle.

The case is under investigation, police said.
