Man Charged for Smuggling Thousands of Dollars into Mexico

A man faces federal charges after Customs and Border Protection agents say they caught him trying to smuggle thousands in cash into Mexico.
Agents say Kirk Arthur Mowat was hiding more than $38,000 as he tried to cross the Gateway bridge into Matamoros on Wednesday.
The money was concealed in the engine of a Chevy Suburban that Mowat was driving.
