Man Flees Across Speeding Traffic on Highway 83

HARLINGEN - A man ran across six lanes of speeding traffic on U.S. Highway 83 in Harlingen in an attempt to flee police.
Texas Department of Public Safety troopers pulled the man over for a traffic violation near Altas Palmas Blvd. in western Harlingen. The suspect managed to elude the troopers and hid in a nearby back yard. Officials found him a short time later.
Troopers found bundles of marijuana in the suspect's vehicle.
