DONNA - A man caught on camera taking a wallet from a counter turned himself in to police.

Surveillance video showed Abel Garcia leaving his wallet on the counter. He said it had $400 he was going to use to pay for day care.

The video also shows a man in sunglasses grab the wallet from the counter and leave the store. It happened at the Tejano Mart in Donna.

Police told us they're working with the suspect and the victim to see whether charges will be filed. They may be able to work out a deal, since the man turned himself in and handed over the wallet.
