Man Stung More than 500 Times

SAN BENITO - An elderly man is recovering from a bee attack in San Benito. Medical personnel said he was stung more than 500 times.
It happened at the 100 block of Lake View North in San Benito. The victim's daughter told police the bee attack happened while he was crushing cans at her home.
Officers said the man drove himself to his home, and an EMS crew later took him to the Harlingen Medical Center. We're told he's in stable condition.
