BROWNSVILLE - A man charged with two Oregon murders dating back more than 35 years said he won't fight an extradition hearing.

Jeffrey Cutlip was arraigned yesterday and will go before a judge again today. He said he'll return to Oregon to face the murder charges.

Brownsville police said Cutlip made a chilling confession about the crimes Saturday. Portland police investigators then came to the Rio Grande Valley and secured an arrest warrant for him.

According to authorities, one case Cutlip admitted to involved a 44-year-old woman found strangled to death in 1975. The second case happened in 1977. A 15-year-old girl went missing and was found dead two days later in a creek.
