RIO GRANDE CITY - Homeland Security Investigators are working to track a drug shipment back to the drug cartel involved. Customs and Border Protection officers seized bundles of marijuana hidden in a shipment of papayas. It happened in Rio Grande City.
The drugs were estimated to have a street value of more than a million dollars. The marijuana was found stashed in the front wall of a utility trailer.
No arrests have been made in the case.
