HIDALGO COUNTY - Customs and Border Protection officers on Tuesday seized more than 2,000 pounds of marijuana in Pharr.
The bundles of drugs were stashed in a load of frozen strawberries. Officers at the Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge said the drugs were in a 1996 Kenworth tractor-trailer.
Officers confiscated 622 bundles of marijuana worth more than $2 million.
