Multiple Law Enforcement Agencies Responding to Pursuit North of La Joya

NORTH OF LA JOYA - CHANNEL 5 NEWS learned multiple law enforcement agencies are heading to FM 2221 and Mile 7 Road. That's north of La Joya. We learned that's where a pursuit ended.
Some law enforcement agencies we've spoke with told us at least one person is dead. Others have mentioned possible shots fired. We're continuing to work to get more information.
La Joya ISD police said a lockdown at Juarez-Lincoln High School was related to this incident. That lockdown has since been lifted.
