National Night Out Draws Crowd in Mission

MISSION - More than 1,000 people showed up for Tuesday's National Night Out in Mission.
The event happened at the La Lomita-Leo Pena Memorial Park. Mission Police Chief Martin Garza spoke about the importance of strengthening community ties to keep crime down in the city.
Police officers from La Joya, Alton, Palmview and Palmhurst attended the event.
