Newspaper Vendor Killed While Crossing the Road

Donna - A man is killed after getting hit by a car while crossing the street.
It happened near the intersection of Salinas Boulevard and Expressway 83 early Sunday morning.
Police tell CHANNEL 5 NEWS the victim was a local newspaper vendor in his fifties.
The driver of the vehicle did stop and render aid.
Police say no charges are expected against the driver at this point.
The case remains under investigation.
