SEOUL, South Korea (AP) North Korea is believed to have conducted a widely anticipated nuclear test Tuesday, after monitoring agencies around the globe detected an earthquake that appeared to be unnatural. The South Korean Defense Ministry said it's trying to determine whether it was a test.

CHICAGO (AP) Two Chicago gang members have been charged in the shooting death of a 15-year-old honor student.
