LOS FRESNOS - Some Lower Valley law enforcement officers were spreading the holiday cheer to young children.
The Precinct 6 Cameron County Constable's Office showed up at a Head Start program in Los Fresnos with Santa Claus.
They went to three classrooms and handed out gifts to the children. They called each child up and Santa spoke to them.
Cameron County Constable Mercedes Burnias said it was a chance to give these children something special for Christmas. The staff, including deputies, investigators and administration came together to give these gifts to the children.
