Official: Haunted Houses Could Pose a Fire Risk

EDINBURG - Hidalgo County Fire Marshal's deputies will be on standby to shut down any unsafe haunted houses on Halloween night, officials said.
Fire Marshal Juan Martinez said some haunted houses could pose a fire danger.
Residents concerned about the safety of haunted houses in their neighborhoods should call the fire marshal at 956-239-1180.
