Park Girl Back in the Valley to Face Charges

LA FERIA - The La Feria businesswoman known as The Park Girl is now in the custody of Cameron County Constables.
Jo Leigh Ares was arrested Wednesday in Hondo, Texas. That's located west of San Antonio. Cameron Constable Pct. 7 Cesar Diaz says his deputies headed to the area to bring her back to the valley.
Ares is accused of taking thousands of dollars from her customers.
After the warrants were issued, Ares flew to Boise, Idaho. She was arrested there when her flight landed. A judge there later let her out on bond.
Ares is scheduled to go before a La Feria judge Thursday morning.
