Park Girl Owner Facing More Charges

BROWNSVILLE - The owner of The Park Girl Mobile Home Sales is facing new charges.
Jo Leigh Ares went before a judge earlier this week. The La Feria businesswoman was charged with 14 counts of deceptive trade and one count of theft.
Ares was already facing four counts of felony theft. Her customers claim she took more than $600,000 without providing mobile homes or clean titles.
Sixty-nine people are now suing her for damages. Ares will be back in a Cameron County courtroom May 23.
