Park Girls Files for Bankruptcy Protection

The Park Girl says she's bankrupt. Jo Leigh Ares filed for bankruptcy protection. Her customers want to make sure that doesn't stop them suing her.
The Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid represents 43 Park Girl customers accusing Ares of taking their money. TRLA says when someone files for bankruptcy, it puts a hold on any attempts to collect money from them. They're asking a judge to let them continue to go after that money despite the bankruptcy filing.
Ares was arrested in Texas in November. She is free on bond.
