Pharr Receives EPA Grant for Outreach Effort

Pharr - The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency recently awarded Pharr, with a $20,000 grant to develop a bilingual public outreach campaign.
The goal is to stop illegal dumping and beautify Pharr.
The Pharr Recycling Center, under the direction of the Public Works Department, will help start the campaign.
"Keeping Pharr Beautiful...Starts at Home," will be the focus of the outreach program.
The city hopes to minimize the impact associated with environmental crimes.
