Police: Children Left at Burger King While Mother Shopped

BROWNSVILLE - A Brownsville woman is facing charges for allegedly leaving two children alone while she shopped.
A judge arraigned 45-year-old Maricela Molina on child abandonment charges. Police said she left her 8-year-old and 9-year-old children at a Burger King on Alton Gloor Sunday afternoon.
Employees concerned about the children called police. Police said Molina left the children while she went shopping at Wal-Mart.
