EDINBURG - The University of Texas-Pan American Police Department is asking for help to locate a possible kidnapping victim.
UTPA Spokeswoman Sandra Quintanilla said a witness called police to report a possible female student being forced into a vehicle in Lot T2, near the Education Building.
Police said two suspects may be involved in the case. The first is described as a Hispanic male wearing a striped shirt. He has a tattoo or birthmark on his left arm, dark complexion and a short beard.
The second suspect is described as approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, in his mid to late 20s and approximately 240 pounds. He was wearing a dark-colored shirt.
Witnesses said the suspects forced the possible victim into a silver Mercury Cougar.
