BROWNSVILLE - Rabies tests are under way for dozens of dogs taken from a Brownsville home.

Police and animal control officers rounded up 28 dogs from a home on the 1300 block of East 17th Street.

The dogs attacked their owners. We're told the owners are sisters who are in their 60s.

The dogs turned on the women over a tortilla Thursday. The women are expected to make a full recovery.
