Reporter Joe Augustine Wins Media Award

MISSION - The Hidalgo County Bar Foundation honored CHANNEL 5 NEWS reporter Joe Augustine.
He was awarded the media award at the 2012 Law Day Gala. The event was held at the The Club at Cimarron in Mission. Augustine received the media award for a number of stories that promote legal justice.
One story in particular covered a San Juan housing project. It brought up the issue of government subsidizing housing when some tenants allegedly belong to gangs.
