RIO HONDO - A cracked window on a Rio Hondo ISD school bus still hasn't been fixed. Patty Hernandez sent CHANNEL 5 NEWS a photo of the bus with a cracked window today.

She first called the station Friday to talk about her concerns about bus safety. Rio Hondo ISD officials said the buses were safe and they need to fix the window.

Today, the glass is still cracked and the bus is in service. School leaders claim the glass company hired to repair the problem hasn't shown up for two days, despite repeated phone calls.
