Sean is very friendly, affectionate, and active. He engages in all types of outside play and enjoys playing with animals. Sean has various interests; he likes arts and crafts, coloring, and superheroes.
Sean is a great child with a big heart who needs redirection and guidance, encouragement and patience. He is learning coping skills to help him channel his emotions when they become overwhelming. Sean accepts redirection and follows through with his consequences at home.
Sean likes to help his foster parents around the house. He enjoys going on outings with his foster family and his foster parents enjoy his company. He gets along with the other children in the home. The other children in the home are very supportive of Sean, they tend to push him to read more and respect school rules. He recently won a coloring contest at school.
Sean receives supportive services at school. He needs assistance with school work and he needs guidance due to his limitation of skills needed to adapt to daily living. Sean can react physically with school staff and peers and needs more encouragement, monitoring, and reminders in order to comply with school staff requests and rules.

Sean needs a strong, consistent, well-structured and very experienced family who can provide a great deal of one-on-one attention. He needs a family willing to let him bond with them in his own time. It is very important to Sean that his thoughts and opinions are valued. He needs a family who will support his contact with a sister, who is not part of this adoption.
