ALAMO - Police continue searching for three gunmen in a robbery at a drive-thru store Tuesday night south of Alamo.

Border Drive-Thru security cameras caught images of the armed robbery. Investigators are using that footage to aid in their investigation.

"They were wearing ... bandanas on their face and hoodies," storeowner Melissa Guzman said.

"The one with the rifle heads toward the refrigerator," she said.

Guzman said one clerk was working when the robbery happened at approximately 10 p.m.

"She was in here and she said she sees ... the gun," Guzman said.

Hidalgo County sheriff's investigators said the gunmen demanded money from the clerk before hitting her with the rifle.

"You could see that she's scared," Guzman said.

"She was a bit scared and a bit hurt, but nothing worse happened," Guzman said.

The suspects took hundreds of dollars and the cash register.

Guzman said she opened the store eight months ago.

"We're not going to let something like this, you know, stop us," Guzman said.

Guzman said she is planning to boost security at her store.

"Armed security guards, basically," she said.
