Search Continues for Suspects Wanted for Robbery

HIDALGO COUNTY - Sheriff's Deputies are searching for two men wanted for allegedly robbing a convenience store.
The robbery happened at a Stripes store at the corner of Val Verde Road and Highway 107 early Sunday morning.
Sheriff Lupe Treviño tells CHANNEL 5 NEWS two men walked into the store and tried stealing beer.
When the store clerk tried stopping the alleged robbers; the suspects attacked him.
Police say the men drove off in a white pick-up truck.
The store clerk was not seriously injured.
Deputies are investigating the case.
