WESLACO - School districts have until the end of the year to join a lawsuit against the state.

More than 600 districts from across the state are suing over school budget cuts. The state cut $4 billion last year.

Many superintendents fear more cuts could happen next year. Some Rio Grande Valley school districts have not joined the suit.
