PORTLAND, OR - It's hard to imagine a streaking NBA basketball team being trounced when a winning streak stops. With Tim Duncan watching in street clothes and Tony Parker dressed, but not used, Portland took no prisoners in a 137-97 thrashing of the San Antonio Spurs (23-10), ending the team's 11-game winning stretch. The Spurs had won seven without defeat on the rodeo road trip. In the second night of a back-to-back, after a Monday win at Utah, coach Gregg Popovich put both his stars on ice in Oregon. The point total for the Blazers was a game high this season, as Portland built a 48 point lead in the fourth quarter. Kawhi Leonard had 24 points and 10 rebounds in the losing effort. The Spurs close out the rodeo road trip Thursday night in Denver.
