WESLACO – A temporary suspension was handed down for a Rio Grande Valley practitioner.

A state disciplinary panel pulled the permit for respiratory care practitioner Margarito Flores Jr.

They claimed continuing his practice poses a threat to public welfare.

In February, Flores was arrested on three felony counts of sexual assault of a child and one felony count of prohibited sexual conduct.
