SAN JUAN - The 22-year-old suspect in a botched San Juan burglary is expected to face a judge this afternoon. He faces two counts of burglary of a habitation with intent to commit assault.
The break-in happened on the 300 block of East Carroll early Sunday morning. Police said a woman and her 14-year-old son held down the suspect until police arrived. During the struggle, all three were injured. The woman needed 10 staples for a head injury.
The family said their phone and security camera lines were cut during the botched burglary.
