Suspected Raspa Robbers Nabbed

STARR COUNTY - Rio Grande City police arrested two suspected raspa stand robbers Monday.
The suspects, Robert Lee Clarke and Juan de Dios Garza were each charged with aggravated robbery.
Investigators said the men on Sunday forced their way into the Ice Age Snow Cone stand on Avasolo Street. The suspects allegedly used a screwdriver and a knife to threaten the clerk. They fled with $100, police said.
Police arrested the men near the crime scene.
