Teams Announced For SPI Invitational

SOUTH PADRE ISLAND - College basketball will be back by the beach this year with a Big 12 school in the mix. The 2012 SPI Invitational will feature Big 12 newcomer TCU along with Northwestern, Illinois State, UAB, Navy, Prairie View A&M, Fairleigh Dickinson, and Delaware State. Each team will be guaranteed four games. The first two will come at local campus sites with the final round being played at the South Padre Island Convention Center. The tourney will run November 23 and 24.
