HARLINGEN - A 17-year-old in Harlingen is facing charges for allegedly biting his girlfriend, putting her in a headlock and dragging her.
Esau Reynoso turned himself into police this week. The attack happened on the 1700 block of South Dixieland Road last week, while the victim was at a bus stop. An off-duty game warden was driving by and intervened.
Police state the victim had visible bite marks to her back, ear, and hands. She declined medical attention.
The 17-year-old had fled the scene, but police later identified him as Reynoso.
After he surrendered to officers, he was charged with felony assault. His bond was set at $20,000.
