DALLAS (AP) Thousands of North Texas homes and businesses have lost electricity as thunderstorms rolled through the area and delayed some travel.

Electric provider Oncor (ON'-kor) on Monday reported nearly 24,000 customers without power, mainly in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

The aviation tracking website FlightAware.com reports some weather-related delays Monday at Dallas Love Field and Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.

The National Weather Service says the chances for rain should ease by Monday night across North Texas. Highs are expected to reach the 80s.
