LOS ANGELES (AP) Gennifer Brandon scored 16 points to lead a balanced offense as No. 6 California beat No. 15 UCLA 79-51 Friday night.
Brittany Boyd and Layshia Clarendon had 14 points each and Reshanda Gray added 10 to lead the Bears (22-2, 12-1 Pac-12) to their 10th straight win.
Atonye Nyingifa scored 20 points for UCLA (19-5, 10-3 Pac-12), which had won six straight since a loss at California on Jan. 20. The Bruins also took their first home loss in conference play this season.
Cal built a 19-point lead in the first half and led by 18 at the break. UCLA got no closer than 11 points in the second half. The Bruins shot just 34 percent (19 for 56) from the field.
Cal hasn't lost since a defeat to No. 4 Stanford on Jan. 8.
NO. 21 COLORADO 55, ARIZONA 42
TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) Jen Reese scored 15 points and Colorado never trailed in beating Arizona.
Lexy Kresl, Chucky Jeffery and Arielle Robertson each scored eight points for the Buffaloes (19-5, 8-5 Pac-12), who have won four in a row. All of Colorado's losses have been to ranked teams including two each to Stanford and California.
The Buffaloes pulled away from an 11-all tie with a 13-0 run, and stayed in control after that. Colorado led 30-23 at the break and scored the first 10 points of the second half.
Jeffery also had six assists and four steals. Robertson led the Buffs with seven rebounds.
Carissa Crutchfield scored 13 points for the Wildcats (11-13, 3-10), who have lost eight in a row.
